Cihideung Udik Village, Upgraded the Health Service for Children under Five and Advanced Age
Cihideung Udik Village became the model village for other villages in Ciampea Sub-district in the progress of its development. This was delivered by Head of Cihideung Udik Village, Juhdi Saefudin, in his welcome speech on the Friday Tour at IPB 2012 (1/6). The plan was, Cihideung Udik village would increase its service for the Integrated Service Post (Children Under Five and Advanced Age).
“Ahead, the service of the Integrated Service Post will be added with the examination toward the advanved age, during this time only the examination toward the children under five only. Besides that, the number of the Integrated Service Post which is active will also be added from only two RT, the next months, the entire RT will be a similar service,” he said.
The Friday Tour IPB 2012 which was presented by the Institute of Research and Community Empowerment (LPPM) IPB was divided of 20 packages of help to the fatherless child. The help was given directly by Dean of Faculty of Veterinary IPB, Dr. Luki Abdullah accompanied by Vice Dean of Facultry of Veterinary, Vice Head of LPPM for Community Empowerment and his fellows. Besides that, in the same occasion, on behalf of IPB, Dr. Luki also handed over the tools of the Integrated Service Post to Chairman of the Integrated Service Post of Anggrek 12.
“This Friday Tour activity is meant in order to be able to corroborate each other and complete each other between university and agricultural community around. The community can give the inspiration for the university in the research activity. Indeed we cannot touch all elements, but we will try to be maximum to be able to reach out everything,” said Dr. Luki in his welcome speech.(zul)
