DIKTI Increased the Fund of PKM IPB

In the year of 2012, 404 proposals for the activities of Student Creativity Program (PKM) of IPB again were funded by DIKTI. The amount of fund increased 1 M from the last year. This was conveyed by Head of Sub Directorate of Reasoning, Interest and Talent, Directorate of Student Affairs of IPB, Bambang Riyanto, SPi, MSi in the activity of Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) in the Common Class Room Building, Campus of IPB Dramaga (10/5). 

“This year, 404 proposals which are funded by DIKTI are Rp 3.5 Billion. Indeed, the number of proposals which are funded decrease if compared with the last year (425 proposals), but the amount of fund is bigger from the previous year i.e. Rp 2.5 Billion,” he said.

According to its reduction, this monev activity was in compliance with the Renstra of IPB 2007-2012, where the year of 2012 was the Prima Prestasi year. Monev was a part of the attempt of IPB to create the academic atmosphere about the achievement work owned.

“From this activity, it will be selected again to seek the best from the proposals which are funded. The selection result will be followed in Pimnas 2012 at Muhammadiyah University Yogyakarta (UMY) on the upcoming 9-14 July. The expectation is that, in the arena of this Pimnas of IPB, the students can give the best and get bright presentation for IPB,” he said.(zul)
