There were many activities carried out by the Agrianita IPB to welcome Kartini Day like charity fair of various products of food diversification, health test, cooking contest based on corn. In the cooking contest activity, various delicious dishes were presented by the contest participants. Public Relations and Protocol of Executive Secretary of IPB served the traditional diet of food diversification i.e. lemper (kind of snack made of steamed glutinous rice with meat or other stuffing and wrapped in a banana leaf) with raw material of corn rice and botok (dish made of coconut and meat, fish etc. wrapped in banana leaf and steamed) corn noodles. Besides cheap, this diet is easy and delicious for the meal together with the family.
 
Besides various activities, Women Health Seminar with the theme of No Extra Kilogram which was presented by the resource person, Ir. Nunik Harsiana, a Communication Expert who inspired a lot of people in Indonesia even foreign  countries, was also spread out.
 
In his welcoming speech Rector stated that “the moment of Kartini Day celebration is made by Agrianita IPB  to quote the lesson about her services in her times.” For IPB, according to Rector through this activity was important to recall IPB to be not able to go forward alone. IPB needed all supporting elements, including the role of Agrianita IPB.
 
In relation to  how was the method to have a healthy living, many behaviors were not realized that actually were not good, by removing peel and discussing it by competent expert. Rector hoped that it could change the things in the long term and have the significant impact.
 
Because we celebrated Kartini Day surely we would not be easy to forget her work with the title of Habis Gelap Terbitlah Terang. Many contents of meaning which was dug from the thing like there was a milieu of full of hope could have meaning of stupidity there was a progress of not knowing to become more knowing. Because of that, let’s change, like habis gelap terbitlah terang.
 
Ir. Nunik Harsiana, Hypno-therapist who was also IPB alumnus, shared the accurate trick about how was the method to have a happy eating but the body was still slender.  According to her, healthy and slender were coming from the human thought. In some humans, there were still many who had the habit to be trusted or which was convinced about not good for health, for example there was the faith that the pregnant women should eat for the portion of two persons. Besides that, other barrier to be difficult to be slender was the sensational dieting, for example not few of women who wished to be slender used various therapies and carried out the diet whereas there was a little possibility to succeed. Other thing was Emotional Eating i.e. eating only because of emotional desire. The third barriers could be controlled by changing the way of thinking and should be able to synergize between our thought and body. (dh)
