In order to support the implementation of the Balanced Score Card and increase IPB’s performance, IPB’s Directorate of Human Resources held a Workshop on Strengthening the Managerial Mind-Set in the Perspective of Performance Management System (SIMAKER) at the Hotel Santika, Bogor, 12/4.

The workshop is intended to accommodate the managerial views from Chairmen of the Departments in IPB about the programs implemented in the future. In his speech, the Rector of IPB said the workshop is to elaborate the perspectives of Heads of the Departments as they are the frontline of the academic implementation for IPB. The performance of Head of the Departments will be contributing directly to the overall performance of IPB.

Rector hopes with this forum, Heads of the Departments can exchange experience and absorb the views of other departments. Rector invited to explore jointly how the implementation of IPB’s management systems can be well accomplished and ensure that the resources available can have a positive impact on IPB’s programs.

Meanwhile, the speaker from the Performance Management System Team (SIMAKER IPB) Ir. Lien Herlina, MSc reminds Heads of IPB’s Departments to always have a managerial mindset. In her view, a good manager can become a great leader who is able to manage himself by reflective thinking, managing organizations, managing context, managing relationships and managing all the existing changes, once again because Heads of the Departments are the spearheads of IPB’s academic management (Mtd)
