Geng Pencil was formed by five students of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) through the Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa (Student Creativity Program – PKM), which is funded by the Directorate General of Higher Education in 2011. The group meets every Thursday and Saturday at the Head Office of the Village Hall. The Hall of the Village Head Office is selected as so far there is no school library. The basic for the establishment of this program as those students realized that the village library has been developed, it is lack of both facilities and resources, therefore, the village library does not functioning well.
