Hundreds of High School Students of BINA INSANI Visited IPB

Group of high school students of Bina Insani Bogor visited  Bogor Agriculture University, and they were received by the Public Relations and Protocol of the  Executive Secretariat at the Toyib Hadiwijaya Auditorium, Darmaga Campus, on 22 November 2011. The  Director of  the  Bina Insani School, Mr. Dedi Sudirman, who accompanied the group stated that the purpose of this visit is to give the right understanding and to expand the insight on the agricultural world for their students who will pursue their higher degree soon.
 
Bogor  Agricultural University does not only offering agricultural sciences which is specifically for farming  alone but also  technology process  applicable in all part of the agricultural world. Bogor Agricultural University is a leading university and coincidentally located in Bogor, this is the reason we are here. If we have such university in Bogor, then why we should travel somewhere else, as the leading university is here, "he said in his remarks in front of hundreds of students.
 
The  enthusiasm of students was getting higher after they were briefed on the University by the speaker of the Public Relations and Protocol of  Bogor Agricultural University, Ms. Siti Nuryati, S.TP, M.Si. they then raised  questions on the status of Bogor Agricultural University and its  alumni, about land-use changes, and the contribution of the University graduates in the banking systems in Indonesia.
