IPB Community of Bank Indonesia Scholarship Recipients

The meeting of 81 Bank Indonesia scholarship recipients last Saturday (15/10) brought out a result. The brief meeting with Abdul Rachman, Bureau of Public Relations of Bank Indonesia, reached a positive result. Bang Rachman (his friendly name), presented special materials to the participants related to the grand design of community building. He discussed a lot 4 areas of interest (economic and social, basic educations for all, public health promotions, and environmental awareness), "Hopefully the community can make a proposal that goes into the four areas," said Bang Rachman.

Moreover IPB has the disciplines related to the four areas, hence more comprehensive.  BI provides funding opportunities for communities to make proposals concerning the 4 areas of interest which have a positive impact on the community. This is a great opportunity for the students of IPB to creatively serve the community. Also on this occasion, Pebri (a student of Department of Resource Economics and Environment, Batch 45) was elected as the temporary chairman of the community (Mtd)
