The Construction of the 3rd Phase of Darmaga Campus

Rector of Bogor Agricultural University, Prof. Dr. Herry Suhardiyanto inaugurated the construction of phase III Darmaga campus. The construction on the building started symbolically by the erection of the first main pillar on Wednesday, 5 October 2011. 

Director of Facilities and Property of Bogor Agricultural University, Dr. Erizal, as signatory of the construction project explained that the fundding sources for the contruction project is from the State Budget for Fiscal Year 2011. It is the continuation of the revised master plan for campus development IIIrd stage of Darmaga campus for 2010-2030.

These contruction activities are divided into three packages, namely: 1st Package is the construction of educational buildings which consist of the construction of the lecture hall with two floors (the administration, guidance and counseling team room, 27 units of lecture rooms with total capacity for 2100 students, lecture hall capacity for 300 students), educational laboratories consisted of two floors for chemistry, biology, physics, language, and this building is also being equipped by computer room, faculty rooms of the general common basic subjects (MKDU).

In the 1st package also, there will be two wings and one node for Faculty of Forestry, two wings and one node for Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Green House, termite laboratory, administrative offices and primate cages, water treatment plant, tennis court and its supporting facilities, and constructing roads with tracks for bicycles and pedestrians. The total ceiling budget for the 1st Package construction is Rp 120 billion, for the management of the financial planning by PT Perentjana Djaja, supervision will be under the management of the PT Raya Konsult, and the construction will be implemented by PT Brantas Abipraya KSO PT Pilar Persada.

2nd Package will be the construction buildings for tropical library, as well as technology and biosciences with a total ceiling budget of Rp 10 billion. For the management of the financial planning by PT Perentjana Djaja, supervision will be under the management of PT Atrya Engineering, the construction will be implemented by PT Fajar Adhikarya. The construction of library building was planned for the expansion of the library facilities such as electronic-based library and Internet networks.

3rd Package is the additional of the value of the educational buildings with a total budget of Rp 30 billion, for the cost of planning by PT Kanta Karya Utama KSO PT Hesa Laras Cemerlang, supervision will be handled by PT Raya Konsult, and execution of construction by PT Pharmakasih Sentosa KSO PT Merindo Indah Lestari.

To provide adequate information to the university communities of such activities, the contractors posted project information on the board and display the building plans.
