Impressive, 35 Percent of IPB University Graduates Have Secured Jobs Before Graduation
A total of 35,2 percent of IPB University graduates have secured jobs before graduation. This data comes from a graduate survey conducted during the 7th Graduation Ceremony of the 2025/2026 Academic Year (5/13).
This achievement demonstrates the competitiveness of IPB University graduates in the job market as well as the effectiveness of the career development programs provided.
This is further supported by Tracer Study data. Over the past three years, 83% of graduates secured employment within 0–6 months of graduation. This indicates that the majority of IPB University graduates are able to adapt and enter the workforce in a relatively short time.
Behind this achievement, IPB University has implemented various competency building programs to support the career development of students and graduates.
Puji Mudiana, SP, MA, Director of Career Development, Entrepreneurship, and Alumni Relations at IPB University, stated that various strategic programs are continuously being implemented to support graduates’ success in entering the professional world.
These programs include Studium Generale and Career Training. By 2025, these programs had been conducted in 64 events, featuring many inspiring alumni and attended by no fewer than 8.000 students.
Every year, hundreds of industry partners and institutions participate in these events. Additionally, there are recruitment and internship programs, as well as the IPB Job Fair Career, which is attended by hundreds of industry partners and institutions.
“IPB University also offers Career Insight, thematic enrichment programs, and career counseling services to help students and alumni plan their careers more effectively,” he said.
Through these various programs, IPB University graduates are expected not only to be successfully absorbed into the workforce but also to possess high competitiveness, adaptability to change, and the ability to make tangible contributions to development across various sectors. (dr) (IAAS/LAN)
