IPB University Becomes the Center for UTBK-SNBT, Prospective Participants Come On Over!
The 2026 Computer-Based Written Exam (UTBK) is just around the corner. This year, IPB University is once again serving as one of the UTBK testing centers for participants from Jakarta, Bogor, Sukabumi, and the surrounding areas.
For those of you who have chosen IPB University as your UTBK testing center, it is important to know the campus location, exam schedule, and exam room listed on your UTBK participant card. This is important to note because the exam locations at IPB University are spread across several campuses that are quite far apart.
Addresses and Locations of UTBK-SNBT at IPB University
The UTBK at IPB University is held across two campuses, namely:
- IPB Dramaga Campus, Dramaga Highway, Dramaga Subdistrict, Bogor Regency
- IPB Cilibende Vocational School Campus, Bogor City Kumbang Road No. 14, RT.02/RW.06, Babakan, Bogor Tengah District, Bogor City
To determine your exact exam location, including the schedule and exam room, make sure to check your UTBK participant card first.
The Vocational School Campus is located in the central area of Bogor City. Meanwhile, the IPB Dramaga Campus is approximately 15 kilometers from the city center. Travel time can take about one hour by car, 45 minutes by motorcycle, and around 1,5 hours by public transportation (city buses/angkot). Therefore, participants are strongly advised to conduct a location survey before the exam day to avoid going to the wrong place or arriving late.
Tips to Avoid Being Late for the UTBK
To avoid being late for the exam, participants are advised to allocate an extra 15–30 minutes to account for traffic congestion, especially in the Dramaga area, which is known for its heavy traffic.
Before entering the Dramaga area, there are two public transportation terminals: Bubulak Terminal and Laladon Terminal. The presence of these terminals often results in heavy traffic in the surrounding area, with angkot, buses, trucks, and other vehicles.
As an alternative, participants can use the Laladon Outer Ring Road to avoid traffic congestion on Dramaga Highway.
Additionally, to avoid lines at the main campus gate, participants may also enter through Gate 2 (the back gate). If necessary, use Google Maps to help find the fastest route to the exam location.
Exam Room Locations at the Dramaga Campus
For participants assigned to the IPB Dramaga Campus, it is important to note the location of the faculty or building where the exam will take place.
UTBK exam locations on this campus are spread across several points, namely:
- Library
- School of Data Science, Mathematics, and Informatics (SSMI)
- Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FTT)
- Faculty of Medicine and Nutrition (FKGiz)
- Faculty of Economics and Management (FEM)
Participants are strongly advised to conduct a preliminary survey to estimate travel time to the exam room.

Here Are 7 Tips to Maintain Physical and Mental Health for Optimal UTBK Performance
Maintaining physical and mental health leading up to the exam is just as important as preparing the subject material. Don’t let all the preparation you’ve done so far go to waste because your physical condition isn’t optimal when exam day arrives.
A supervisor of Medical Services at IPB University, namely dr Mimi Oktafia, shared several tips for maintaining health so that participants can face the 2026 UTBK-SNBT in peak condition.
“Maintaining physical and mental health ahead of the UTBK is crucial so that participants can stay focused and perform at their best during the exam,” she said.
Here are seven simple tips from dr Mimi that can follow by UTBK participants in the days leading up to the exam.
- Don’t Stay Up Late
First, participants are advised not to stay up late and to get enough rest. Getting 7 until 9 hours of sleep at night is crucial for maintaining concentration and stamina. Lack of sleep can lead to decreased focus while working on exam questions.
- Eat Nutritious Food
Second, consuming a balanced, nutritious diet is also something that should not be overlooked. dr Mimi reminds participants not to skip breakfast on exam day. “Breakfast provides energy and helps improve concentration during the exam,” she explained.
- Stay Hydrated
Additionally, staying properly hydrated is important. Participants are advised to drink at least eight glasses of water per day and avoid sugary and caffeinated beverages before the exam to keep the body in a stable condition.
- Make Time for Light Exercise
To maintain fitness, dr Mimi suggests that participants continue to do light exercise for 15 to 30 minutes at home. Light physical activity can help maintain stamina. Avoid strenuous activities that carry a risk of injury.
- Manage Stress
Equally important is managing stress. According to her, feeling pressure before an exam is normal, but it must be handled wisely. “Unmanaged stress can lower your immune system,” she explained. She suggests that students practice meditation, light exercise, or other enjoyable activities
- Set a Study Schedule
Furthermore, participants were also reminded to maintain a disciplined study schedule. Balancing study time with rest will help keep both physical and mental health at their best.
- Don’t Forget to Pray
In closing, dr Mimi emphasized the importance of the spiritual aspect when facing exams. “After doing everything you can, don’t forget to pray for smooth sailing and peace of mind during the exam,” she concluded.
With thorough preparation, it is hoped that participants can face the exams with greater confidence and achieve the best possible results. (AS) (IAAS/KQA)

Face Exams Without Excessive Pressure, IPB University Psychiatrist Shares Stress Management Strategies
As the UTBK-SNBT approaches, mental pressure is often felt by 12th-grade students. This condition arises alongside increasing academic demands and expectations to achieve the best results. Psychological readiness is a crucial factor alongside academic preparation.
Psychiatrist and lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine and Nutrition (FKGiz) at IPB University, dr Riati Sri Hartini, SpKJ, MSc, noted that the psychological challenges leading up to the UTBK-SNBT are quite complex.
“The most common experiences among students are stress and anxiety, a lack of self-confidence, and the pressure to succeed,” said dr Riati when contacted via WhatsApp message.
According to her, stress and anxiety can stem from both internal and external factors. Internally, students are generally plagued by fears of facing difficult questions, worries about being unable to answer them, and anxiety about exam results.
“These fears can disrupt students’ cognitive processes. As a result, they have difficulty concentrating, and their performance during exams can be compromised,” she explained.
From an external perspective, pressure also arises due to the packed study schedule in the final year of school and various additional academic activities. “Starting in the third grade, the pace of learning changes drastically. The schedule becomes increasingly packed, and the pressure to succeed from both school and family becomes more intense. This can lead to burnout,” she said.
Additionally, a lack of self-confidence is a common challenge students face. dr Riati noted that even after making various preparations, many students still feel unprepared.
“Often, this lack of self-confidence arises from the feeling that their preparation wasn’t sufficient. Yet objectively, they are actually capable. High expectations from family or school can become a psychological burden in themselves,” she said.
Tips for Managing Stress Before Exams
dr Riati emphasized that preparation for the UTBK-SNBT must be comprehensive, focusing not only on academic content but also on mental health.
“Preparation isn’t something that happens overnight. It requires a long process that includes stress management, academic reinforcement, and emotional regulation,” she said.
She suggested several concrete steps, such as breathing relaxation techniques, meditation, and emotional awareness exercises. “Breathing calmly can increase brain oxygenation, which helps with focus and calmness. Meditation can also help train concentration,” she explained.
Additionally, students are encouraged to recognize and channel their emotions in a healthy way. “This can be done through journaling, self-talk, or channeling emotions into positive activities like sports or hobbies,” she added.
She emphasized that these techniques should be practiced regularly, not just when stress arises. “With this habit, students will be better prepared to face challenging situations,” she concluded. (Fj) (IAAS/KQA)
