IPB Rector Inaugurated IPB Officials

Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) established the Oath Taking Program for the University  officials at the Lobby of Andi Hakim Nasoetion Building (AHN), Darmaga Campus, on Tuesday, 22 April 2014. A total of 21 officials were installed to carry out their mandates as Dean, Director, Deputy Director, Head of Department, Head of Library, Secretary of the Department, the Secretary of the Centre, Library Secretary, Deputy Director, Head of Administration, and Section Heads.

 

Vision of IPB as stipulated at its 2014-2018 Strategic Plan has emphasized the role of IPB to put agriculture in the mainstream, namely “to be theWorld Class Research University withInternational Standard, and as the Prime Mover into the Mainstreaming Agriculture". Rector of IPB, Prof. Dr.IrHerrySuhardiyanto, M.Sc said, "I need allyou to assist me translate this vision into policies and programs on each unit. In the annual roadmap, especially for the 2014 the work program of IPB will be emphasized on System and Compatibility. 

 

Rector of IPB reminded the newly installed officials that they should change their vision from personal point of view into the institutional common interest or to put the university first. Further, they are expected to develop their leadership attitude to be the exemplary figures, capable to  motivate and encourage better communication among staff, and having good personal approach in any constraints they are going to encounter. 

 

"Congratulations and good luck for you all, the newly inaugurated officials, thank you very much for the successful achievements you made and your dedication for the University," said Prof. Dr. Ir. HerrySuhardiyanto, M.Sc.Finally, Rector of IPB expected that they will keep work harder, full of dedication and responsibility, and could cooperate together for better IPB’ team-work, because weare working for the benefit of our IPB.(Wied).
