Closing Ceremony and Farewell Party of 19th Tri-U

Bogor Agricultural University organized the Closing Ceremony and the Farewell Party on “The 19th Tri-U International Joint Seminar and Symposium 2012” (25/10). The event which had been held since 21 October picked up the theme of “Role in Asia in Communities and Sustainable Development”. This Closing Ceremony and Farewell Party were organized at IPB International Convention Center (IICC).

On this occasion, it was announced the Best Presenter Award and the Runner-up for Oral Presenter in four topics and one additional topic among them were Food, Population, Energy, Environment and Ecology. The activity of “The 19th Tri-U International Joint Seminar and Symposium 2012” was symbolically closed by the Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs, Prof.Dr.Ir. Yonny Koesmaryono, MS.

In his welcome speech, Prof. Yonny stated, “I would like to thank you for the participants, the professors and for all students who have participated so well in this Tri-U International Joint Seminar and Symposium 2012. We hope you can enjoy the interaction and the discussion in this activity. It means that we should learn each other, we can discuss about many topics which are opened about Food, Population, Energy, Environment and Ecology. So we hope that these symposium and seminar can increase the relationship, partnership and understanding among countries”.

“We are expecting that after the event of the Tri-U International Joint Seminar and Symposium 2012, IPB students can be more taken steps into the International world.  Especially for the name of IPB because now it has become the fourth founder for the event of Tri-U,” said the Chairman of the Committee, Dr. Desrial. This event was continued with the Farewell Party in the form of dinner and cultural performance from the representative participants of each university. (RF).
