Chairman of PBNU Gave a Public Lecture at IPB

The Faculty of Human Ecology (FEMA-IPB) held a Public Lecture in the 7th Dies Natalis of the Faculty. The Public Lecture Program presented the Chairman of Executive Board of Nahdatul Ulama, Prof. Dr. KH Said Agil Siradj, MA. The program was held in the Auditorium of GMSK, (5/9).
 
Prof. Said Agil in his speech asserted that Islam was the religion which was very respectful about the science. It had been said by Rosulullah at about 14 century ago that “Only the knowledgeable person who can do correctly”. So that in its practice to understand Islam, it was not enough by going deep into Alquran but also it should use the intellect coupled with the methods of agreement from the scholars or the hadis shohih of the scholars.
 
In this 7th Dies Natalis of the Faculty of Human Ecology, Dean of FEMA IPB, Dr. Arif Satria mentioned some achievements which had been achieved by FEMA, amongst all were the International Cooperation with various countries, which also constituted the best website achiever and the best champion of soccer throughout IPB.
