Dr. Ishartanto passed away

Dr. Ishartanto, MMA, on Monday (13/8) passed away in Jakarta. In Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), he held an important position as vice chairman of the Board of Trustees in the period 2007-2012. Together with Prof. Dr. Didik J Rachbini, he was trusted to lead the highest institution in the biggest agricultural university in Southeast Asia. Dr Ishartanto was also a chairman of the Alumni Association of Masters in Agribusiness Management (IAMMA) IPB for two periods of terms

In 2007-2009, this businessman, born in Palembang in South Sumatra was trusted to be the chairman of Commission in the House of Representatives. And in 2008, Dr Ishartanto was elected as chairman of the National Horticulture Board. (Mtd)
