Adaro Scholarships for Freshmen Students of IPB

PT Adaro Indonesia awarded  22 scholarships for  2012 freshmen students of  IPB  through Beasiswa Utusan Daerah /BUD (Scholarship as Representative from the Region) of IPB. The granting of the scholarship was done by GM External Relations, Mr. Bambang Susanto, on Tuesday, 31 July 2012, held at the Rectorat Building, Darmaga campus, Bogor.

The BUD is part of the PT Adaro’ Corporate Social Responsiblity  (CSR) program in the field of education to provide the best qulity education for its local communities who made achievements and  want to develop  their home towns or regions  after they have graduated.

The year 2012, is the third year for this mining company in providing scholarships for local students of the areas where the company operates. Up to now a total of 55 (fifty five) students from five districts in the region of Adaro’s operations have been awarded full scholarships  to enable them to finalize their undergraduate program at  IPB for 5 (five) years.
