SMAM (Senior High School of Muhammadiyah) Gresik Again Visits IPB

SMA Muhammadiyah (SMAM) of Gresik in East Java revisited Campus Dramaga of IPB Monday (29/10). A Group of 300 people were welcome by the Executive Secretary of IPB Dr. Bonny PW Sukarno at in the Auditorium of Andi Hakim Nasoetion, Rectorate Building.
 
The group leader, who is the headmaster of the school, Muhammad Toha Mahsun, S.Ag., in his speech, said the visit is expected to further introduce students to the universities, especially IPB. He said that many graduates of the school have taken further studies in IPB.

“Hopefully, next year there will be more of our graduates accepted by IPB," Toha said, echoed by the students.

The student visit, coinciding with the end of the IPB staff’s working hours did not discourage the spirit of both sides. The presentation of Siti Nuryati, STP, MSi, the resource person of IPB Human Relations about IPB delivered interestingly could arouse curiosity of a number of students and teachers to ask questions ranging from scholarships to the possibility of IPS (social Science) graduates to study IPB.
