The visit of Juang Kencana to the Posdaya Binaan IPB

The retirees of  the head office of BKKBN who named themselves as “Juang Kencana” visited  Posdaya Pancagalih, Loji Village, Bogor, on 5 October 2012.  The guests were cheered and greeted  by school children of the Early Childhood Education (PUAD) at the Pelita library park, which was established since the year 2006 by the Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO). This library, which is funded by the community members who care on  education,  as a free reading facilities  for children of Loji village.

In her remarks, the village head of  Loji, Ms. Oom Komariah stated  that  Posdaya Pancagalih has been established for one year. "For the first when the Posdaya was officially introduced to  RW 03 communities, Alhamdulilah, the communities accept it, and the Posdaya is growing rapidly,  especially its cooperatives business. At the beginning, , its initial capital was Rp1 000 000, 00 (One million Rupiah) now its has increased into Rp40 000 000, 00 (fourty million Rpiah), she said. In education, the Posdaya has synergized with Posyandu dan Posbindu to establsih the Early Child Education  (PUAD).

Meanwhile,  Dr. Syahrir, the representative of the Juang Kencana group expressed that the objectives of this official tour to Posdaya Panca Galih was part of the learning process on the development of Posdaya, which later on will be applied in their own hometown. The retired officials of BKKBN are  from various regions in Indonesia such as Jakarta, Sulawesi, Bali, Palembang, Manado, West Kalimantan and West Java. As a token of appreciation members of the Juang Kencana pledged to provide financial assistance by collecting spontaneous contributions and it will be donated to the Posdaya Pancagalih. (Wied)
