FEMA of IPB Focuses Nutrition Improvement in Margajawa, Bogor regency

Faculty of Human Ecology (FEMA) IPB focuses its activities in the Friday Tour (Jumling) on
the improvement of nutritional quality in Margajaya village, Bogor regency.  This was
described in the activity of Friday Tour (7/9) at Al Fath Mosque, Kampong Mekarsari,
Margajaya Village, Dramaga District, Bogor.

"There will be training on nutrition for around 200 cadres of Posyandu (Integrated Health
Service). This training will be in five periods; each is expected to train abut 40 people,"
he said in the presence of Margajaya residents,  the Village Chief of Margajaya, Otong
Hermansyah, and Vice Head of LPPM-IPB for the Community Services Division, Dr. Prastowo. He
said that the training is to make people aware of nutrition, and ultimately can create
models of Posyandus. As usual in the Friday Tour, Dr. Prastowo contributed donation to 20
orphans and posyandu equipment, al Qur’an and juz’ama (the Thirtieth Chapter of Al-Quran).
