IPB Award for Primate Researcher from the University Of Washington
IPB Rector gave a certificate of award to the primate researcher from the University of Washington, Prof. Randall C. Kyes, PhD. This is an appreciation from IPB as Prof. Randall has over 20 years been working in the field of research with IPB. "It is a form of long-term commitment, especially in the area of primates. Prof. Randall has been consistently for 20 years conducting research related to primates, training and education for IPB students," said Rector. The certificate was submitted in Rector’s woorking room (23/7) serenely, attended by Vice Rector for Research and Cooperation, Prof. Dr. M Anas Fauzi; Director of Cooperation, Dr. Rinekso Soekmadi; Head of International Cooperation, Dr. Agil M,The dean of Faculty of Veterinary Madicine, prof. Srihadi, PSSP IPB Secretary, Dr. dr. Irma Herwati Suparto, MS, and Ir Entang Iskandar, MSi.
In addition, Rector of IPB also gave a miniature of IPB building and several books related to IPB’s research. Prof. Randall will return to the USA in January. With regard to the certificate of award, Prof. Randall said, "He is very happy to get the certificate. This is an appreciation to me. IPB is a second home for me. Further, according to him, IPB is very serious to encourage students to advance. Not only that, according to Prof. Randall, the most importance in the cooperation is not the funding issue, but it is the good relationship between both sides. (Mtd)
