Youth holding Bachelor Degrees as Motivator of Development have a Coordination Meeting in IPB

Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) held a coordination meeting with University Graduates as Motivators of Rural Development (PSP3) of West Java in the Seminar Room of LPPM, 3rd floor, IPB Rector Building (25/6). This event is a quarterly agenda of coordination meetings for PSP3 of West Java. PSP3 is a program in which IPB is requested to be the mentor.

In his presentation, the representative of West Java PSP3 reported the progress of their activities during their stay in the village. Some of the products resulting from the community empowerment program were also shown on the occasion. This is necessary to review how far PSP3 development activities are in each village they are improving.

Head of IPB LPPM, Prof. Dr. Ir. Bambang Pramudya Noorachmat, M.Eng opened this coordination meeting. In his speech, Prof. Bambang said, "Comparing to the time when we met in last October, I saw your faces full of questions wondering whether you were ready to go or not to the villages in West Java, but now I see your faces have changed, so many bright faces are showing that you are quite feeling at home to stay in the village."

"One thing we need to maintain is communication. In this way all the problems encountered on the field can easily be handled together. If there is a problem, I hope our colleagues in IPB can rightly deal with it so that any constraint can be solved together,” added Prof. Bambang.

Assistant Deputy of Youth Pioneering, Dr. Abud Musaad in his speech said, "I hope in the future the development by the higher education can be further enhanced. The mechanisms that are not explicitly programmed turned out to be more effective. (Mtd)
