A Series of IPB University Student Sports Achievements Color the End of 2025
IPB University students have once again demonstrated their dominance in various national championships. In the last two months, three sports—futsal, kickboxing, and volleyball—have achieved impressive results.
The first achievement came from the Faculty of Animal Science Men’s Futsal Team, which won 3rd place at the 2025 National Futsal Championship for the Faculty of Animal Science, held from November 26 to 30, 2025, at the IPB Dramaga Gymnasium. This event, which was participated in by 16 teams from all over Indonesia, is held annually, and this year IPB University was the host.
“We would like to thank all parties who supported the success of this event. We hope that this activity will continue to grow and improve the achievements and friendship of animal science students throughout Indonesia,” said a student representative.
In the kickboxing category, IPB University student Nakhwah Zulfatuh Wardah won two medals at the 2025 National Kickboxing Open Championship in Jakarta, held from November 28 to December 3, 2025, which was attended by 250 athletes from 19 provinces. She brought home a silver medal (senior female musical forms) and a bronze medal (senior female creative forms).
“I would like to thank all my supporters. The assistance from IPB Lucky Sport has really helped us balance our academic studies and training,” she said.
The greatest achievement came from the IPB University Men’s Volleyball Team, which won first place at the PTDI–STTD Lustrum IX 2025 National Championship in Bekasi, December 5–8, 2025. This competition was participated in by government-affiliated colleges and universities throughout Indonesia. “Even though we faced obstacles in terms of training facilities, we continued to strive to achieve results for the campus. The support from IPB Lucky Sport was very helpful,” said the volleyball team captain.
The Director of Student Affairs at IPB University, Dr Beginer Subhan, expressed his appreciation for these achievements. “These achievements prove that IPB University can compete with other national athletes. We will continue to support student activities that excel at the national and international levels,” he said.
In line with this, Abdul Qodir, SSos, MM, Supervisor of Student Sports and Arts Development, emphasized the importance of continuous support. “We are very proud of IPB students who excel. The IPB Lucky Sport program was designed as a form of guidance and consultation so that students can balance their academic and sports activities.”
This series of victories confirms that sports are one of the pillars of IPB University’s contribution to enhancing the campus’s reputation, while also producing more young talents who are ready to compete at the national and international levels. (*/Rz) (IAAS/LAN)
