The upper body is covered in fine, grayish fur; the legs are generally yellowish-brown. The underparts vary: in the subspecies R. t. sabae, the underparts are pale gray with white tips (yellowish-brown), while in the subspecies R. t. jalorensis, the underparts are white. The fur is fine and dense, with black guard hairs of medium length evenly distributed among the other hairs. The tail is entirely dark brown. The feet are relatively broad with distinct, fine protrusions.

📍Found in Cikabayan and along the riparian vegetation of the Ciapus-Cisadane-Cihideung rivers.
