The Rector of IPB University Submits SK for Prospective Lecturers for Non-PNS Faculties/Schools in 2022
The Rector of IPB University, Prof. Arif Satria submitted a Decision Letter (SK) for Prospective Non-Civil Servant Lecturers (PNS) for 26 people who will serve in faculties/schools within IPB University, including the Faculty of Medicine. The SK was handed over in the Rector's Meeting Room, Dramaga Campus, Bogor, (3/8).
Prof. Arif congratulated the lecturers who received the decree. The selected lecturers have gone through a rigorous selection process. He hopes that IPB University will become fertile ground for lecturers to have a career.
“My message is, be a great lecturer, who is able to inspire. If the lecturer teaches with heart, the students will be more impressed in gaining knowledge. Make the teaching profession a calling. In carrying out this profession, there must be a balance between material and social,” said Prof. Arif.
Meanwhile, Director of Human Resources, Dr Heti Mulyati conveyed several things related to the recruitment process for the need for doctor lecturers for the establishment of the Faculty of Medicine and the needs of other faculties/schools. "IPB University as a Legal Entity State University (PTNBH) can appoint non-PNS permanent employees due to need. This need begins with an open recruitment process," said Dr Heti.
She explained that there were 81 applicants for prospective lecturers at the Faculty of Medicine. They have a minimum educational background of the medical profession. While the number of applicants for prospective lecturers in other faculties/schools is 74 people with a doctoral education background.
“After going through a selection process for approximately one month which includes the Basic Academic Potential Test (TPDA), micro-teaching and psychological assessment, 12 prospective lecturers were selected to strengthen the Faculty of Medicine. Three of them hold Master's Degree in Biomedical," she explained.
In addition, continued Dr. Heti, as many as 11 people were selected to be placed in the School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Science (3 people), Faculty of Agricultural Technology (1 person), Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (2 people), Faculty of Economics and Management (2 people) and Vocational School (3 people). Not only that, the HR Directorate also assessed the status of contract lecturers to become permanent lecturers as many as three people at the Vocational School.
“Hopefully these lecturers who come from different scientific backgrounds and universities can blend into an inseparable whole. To bring progress to one name, IPB University," concluded Dr Heti. (dh/Rz)
