This noble task would not be achieved using regular ways, and so new strategies and methods must be developed. Prof Arif Satria described four scenarios for higher education institutions in the future. First the future skill university which focuses on the skill of graduates. Second, the networked university which is related to institutions. Third, the lifelong higher learning scenario, a learning model which will create strong learners. Fourth, the “My-University” scenario with a curriculum that is determined by the university itself. He explains that innovation must be developed with the reference of skills needed for the future (leadership, partnership and collaboration, innovation, and creativity).
