In order to commemorate the 55th Anniversary of IPB, the IPB Institute for Research and Community Services (LPPM IPB) invited lecturers and students to attend a series of Publiweek events held from September 24-28 2018 in several places.

The Publiweek activity consists of several agendas ranging from workshops, training, publication clinics, expos, to awards devoted to lecturers. As of today Wednesday (26/9), LPPM IPB held Publiclinic at the 1st Floor Andi Hakim Nasution Building, Dramaga IPB Campus starting at 08.30-15.30 WIB.

Dr. Hawis Madduppa, Head of the Scientific Publication Division of IPB's LPPM said that the Publication Clinic is a series of Publiweek which aims to serve post-students and lecturers who want to publish their work. "In the future, with this facility, we can increase scientific publications which is one of the requirements in increasing the ranking of IPB in the international arena," he explained.

Dr. Hawis said that for three days the series of events had been running since Monday, LPPM had served around 300 lecturers and postgraduate students who consulted scientific journals that will be published.

Dr. Hawis hopes that in the future, Publiweek will be able to overcome the problems in publishing his journal so that it can increase the indexation of journals in IPB. "In addition to carrying out the Publiweek event series. We will also hold a Publiaward which will be held on October 12 as one of our appreciation for lecturers for their contribution in improving scientific journal publications. We hope that with this whole series not only increase quantity, but also the quality of scientific publications," he concluded (FM).
